Phillip Dang, Psy.D., ABPP, PCC

Dr. Dang is a Board Certified Clinical Psychologist, and founder of Aspire Psychological and Executive Coaching Services (APECS).  He earned his undergraduate degree in Psychology from the University of Connecticut and his master’s and doctoral degrees in Clinical-Community Psychology from the University of La Verne in La Verne, California.  Dr. Dang completed his internship at the APA-Accredited Colorado Mental Health Institute at Fort Logan, and an APA-Accredited postdoctoral fellowship at the Harry S. Truman Memorial Veterans’ Hospital.

In his clinical practice, Dr. Dang specializes in providing cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) to adult clients with a wide range of emotional and adjustment issues, such as anxiety, stress, depression, sleep difficulties, and relationship problems. Dr. Dang has a particular interest in men’s issues, such as masculinity and gender roles. Dr. Dang also has extensive experience providing supervision to clinicians as they acquire skills to deliver CBT in their own practice.  In all elements of his work, Dr. Dang aims to provide an environment of authenticity, genuineness, and respect.
